The Dept. of Labor and the Securities and Exchange Commission have announced a joint one-day hearing on target date or lifecycle funds and other investment options. The hearing is scheduled for June 18, 2009. It will be held at the Dept. of Labor, 200 Constitution Ave NW, Washington, D.C.
The press release from the DOL and SEC which announced the hearing states that witnesses will include representatives of plan participants and beneficiaries, plan sponsors, investor organizations, academia and the financial services industry.
